Founded in May 2016, flux+flow - an agile growth marketing agency - started as a side hustle but quickly became our prime hustle. While working for numerous Boston-based B2B startups, we experienced the challenges of working with external teams and consultants. Additionally, we had difficulty finding a digital marketing agency that understood the specific problems that growing tech startups and B2B SaaS companies encountered on a daily basis.

High-growth startups have little room for error and even a seemingly minor misstep could spell disaster for a nascent company trying to establish traction. Moreover, many of the traditional marketing agencies we spoke with required long-term contracts and monthly retainers; an approach that doesn’t align well with the unique needs of rapidly growing tech and B2B SaaS startups.

Although we are focused on developing long-term relationships, we quickly realized that monthly retainers or long-term commitments might not work for some startups until they establish the necessary traction. However, as a team of startup vets, we’re always searching for creative solutions to complex problems or as we like to call them opportunities. Inspired by the unique challenges B2B SaaS startups faced, flux+flow decided to apply that same approach to not only startups but more established B2B organizations that were hungry for growth.
